Saracens 3rd Annual Cricket Game
The 3rd annual "Calgary Ashes" took place on Saturday August 27 at the Calgary Irish. The
game took place in the usual perfect weather and was again competitive with the team batting
first scoring well with good contributions from Ed, Paul K, Johann, Paul J. and David.
They held on to win by dismissing the other team in the final over with five runs still
needed to win. An excellent lower-order fightback from
Zubin, Henlo, Cat and Tim fell just short.
The batting was as agressive as ever, the bowling mostly a bit rougher,
the fielding very good, the lunch was large and tasty and the beer was cold and also tasty.

P.S. If anyone can identify the "?" in the second innings the scorer
would appreciate it.
